Re Seattle letter to Phoenix dated 1/21/75; Phoenix memo of SA [REDACTED] dated 1/27/75.
The following investigation was conducted by SA [REDACTED]
AT KINGMAN, ARIZONA
On 2/4/75, [REDACTED] Kingman Police Department, and [REDACTED] Mohave County Sheriff's Office, advised that after checking their respective files that they could find nothing on file identifiable with [REDACTED]
On 2/11/75, [REDACTED] was contacted at his residence, [REDACTED] Kingman, Arizona, and furnished the following information:

[REDACTED] then produced a booklet entitled "Dowsing for Treasurers and Minerals" by SAM WOLFE, 13451 Ector, La Purta, California. [REDACTED] advised that this book was his source of information of "dowsing" and how one can go about locating people like D.B. COOPER and the missing $200,000.00.
It is to be noted that [REDACTED] made no mention of "Radiesthesia", use of a "pendulum", or "triangulation".
It is also noted that [REDACTED] is an elderly retired white male, who is sincerely motivated but had probably achieved a fair degree of senility and was unable to speak in depth on the subject he professed to be proficient in, namely, "dowsing".
In view of the above, no further investigation is being conducted by the Phoenix Division unless advised to the contrary by Seattle.
