Re Seattle memo of SC [redacted] dated 4/7/76.

On 5/6/76, [redacted], Aberdeen, Washington, advised that she suspected [redacted] as possibly being identical with D. B. COOPER. She identified this individual as [redacted], however, she noted that [redacted] had on several occasions used the last name [redacted]. She then displayed a photograph of [redacted] taken in 1969, which depicted [redacted] as having a very receding hairline, however, [redacted] claimed the photograph was not a good representation of [redacted] and she felt that he had more hair than depicted. She described [redacted] as a white male American, age 43 or 44, 5'8" tall, 160 pounds, dark brown hair, brown eyes.

[redacted] stated the reason she suspected [redacted] as possibly being identical with D. B. COOPER were the following:

He had told her that he was an ex-paratrooper; he had used the name [redacted] in the past and since his true last name was [redacted] she felt he could easily have used the name [redacted]. She also noted that she has had no contact with [redacted] since 1970 and prior to that time they had been good friends. She knew of no reason why he would be avoiding her and felt the fact that he had not visited her since that time was suspicious. She also noted that she had mentioned the possibility of [redacted] as being COOPER [redacted] and he had acknowledged this possibility.

She stated that he was last known to be residing in Enumclaw, Washington, and she believed [redacted] (LNU) who had [redacted] Washington.
