A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

Re Seattle letter to San Francisco, 4/21/77, Legat, Ottawa airtel to the Bureau, 6/9/77.
[REDACTED] San Jose, California, interviewed re [REDACTED] and information previously discussed with [REDACTED] Attorney at Law, San Jose, California.
[REDACTED] indicated he had known [REDACTED] for many years and only recently did he become disenchanted with him for failure to repay some back debts.
[REDACTED] stated that in his opinion, [REDACTED] is the individual who committed the hijacking, but he has no positive information, only bits and pieces of information which he had put together over the past few years.
He stated that [REDACTED] is a trained paratrooper, and prior to the hijacking of the aircraft, [REDACTED] had taken extensive training in night skydiving, had previous paratrooper training in the military, and was very knowledgeable about aircraft.

that [REDACTED] had received on a regular basis funds from the Toronto-Dominion Bank, Toronto, Canada, these funds [REDACTED]. alleged to be received from relatives in that area. [REDACTED] stated that these regular payments from the Toronto-Dominion Bank could easily amount up to $200,000 plus.
---
Further review of records available, San Jose, Calif., indicate that [REDACTED] opposed to [REDACTED] as reflected in Seattle communication, 4/21/77. In view of this fact, the age at the time of the commission of the crime would be more close to the suggested mid-forties age of the hijacking.
---
In view of the adamant feeling on the part of [REDACTED] and the discrepancy in the age as reflected in Los Angeles interview, 2/9/72, and information available San Jose, Calif., reflecting he is, in fact, [REDACTED] it is believed that a reinterview of [REDACTED] and providing him an oppor- tunity to take a polygraph examination would be appropriate.
---
Efforts to obtain additional information concerning activities at the Toronto, Dominion Bank are being pursued by a separate communication.
