A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

RE: [REDACTED]
---
Re San Francisco airtel to Seattle dated 9/12/77 and Legat, Ottawa, letter to the Bureau dated 10/11/77.
For the information of the Bureau and Legat, Ottawa, on August 18, 1977, [REDACTED] was interviewed in Cupertino, California. He initially consented to answer questions, but later declined based on the advise of his attorney. Prior to terminating the interview, [REDACTED] advised that he would be willing to assist in any way in this investigation and would consent to taking a polygraph examination if desired.
---
[REDACTED] has been thoroughly investigated in this matter, however, his exact location on November 24, 1971, is unknown. During that week he supposedly was in Colorado Springs, Colorado, working for Abco, Inc., [REDACTED] However, a review of his daily [REDACTED] reports indicate numerous fictitious contacts in that the establishments do not exist or the persons contacted do not exist and all those institutions contacted which were listed and could be identified denied knowing [REDACTED]. It was thought at the time the daily reports were reviewed that [REDACTED] was merely falsifying his daily report to cover up non-work related activities or that his daily reports which were made up by [REDACTED] after the fact were simply not accurate because of [REDACTED] poor memory.
