[REDACTED] was contacted at the residence of [REDACTED] Carson City, Nevada She stated that she is in Carson City for the holidays but will be returning to Alaska in one or two months. She stated that she will be residing at [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Palmer, Alaska [REDACTED]

She stated that in April 1977, she met one [REDACTED] at the Carson Park Bar, Carson City, Nevada. From that time, she commenced dating this person and thought she got to know him fairly well. This person told her that he entered the United States Navy at the age of nineteen and served for several years in Viet Nam where his duties were [REDACTED]
After returning to the United States of America while stationed at San Diego, California, [REDACTED] established a Skydiving School at San Diego California. [REDACTED] claimed to be one of an original group of skydivers formed in the late 1950s and in 1968 while making a jump [REDACTED] and bad fall that resulted [REDACTED] He claimed not to have jumped since then.
[REDACTED] also claimed to have been involved in motorcycle racing in California and raced for [REDACTED] He claimed to race Kawasaki cycles and had a bad accident that [REDACTED]
[REDACTED] while in Carson City, Nevada, claimed to have [REDACTED] Western Nevada Community College, Carson City. He claimed to have [REDACTED] [REDACTED] He also indicated to her that he had worked for or was closely associated [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Reno, Nevada and had something to do with flying. He supposedly was a pilot. [REDACTED] related that he holds [REDACTED] from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California.

[REDACTED] told her that he had been born in Russia and came to this country as a child. [REDACTED] She stated that she could not recall the first name [REDACTED] but the last name supposedly is [REDACTED]

She and [REDACTED] went to Alaska and arrived in Fairbanks July 20, 1977, and lived at various campgrounds in that city. En route to Alaska, [REDACTED] drove a 1965 Chevrolet pickup bearing Nevada license [REDACTED] and she drove a 1972 Audi two door 100LS bearing Nevada license [REDACTED] The pickup is bright orange with a white camper shell. At the British Columbia border, Canadian authorities made notes of their names and gave them nine days to clear Canada.

After arriving in Alaska, [REDACTED] told her that he would be meeting [REDACTED] Anchorage where [REDACTED] came on occasions on a fishing trawler.

[REDACTED] also told her that he was expecting a large shipment of gold that would be sent to him from a bank in Zurich, Switzerland in the form of gold statuettes. He said he had been to Switzerland as well as over most of the world. [REDACTED] told her he got this money from skyjacking an airplane over Oregon and that he was in fact "D.B. COOPER." He explained to her that he was the only one who could have done this because of his jumping experience and further since he was a pilot he knew when to jump. He told her that the [REDACTED] of the Victim Airline Company knew that he was the skyjacker and that [REDACTED] [guess: prior] to the skyjacking. He commented to her that the [REDACTED] of the Airline [REDACTED] was knowledgeable regarding gold mining and planned to change the statuettes to bullion and claim the gold was from an Alaska mine.

About the first of September 1977, she had an altercation with [REDACTED] and she [REDACTED] and left to drive to Anchorage about four hundred miles away. She stated that she tried [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] threatened her with it as well as beating her physically. She explained that she wanted to take the revolver for protection on the trip to Anchorage. [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was at the house at the time [REDACTED] beat her and witnessed this.

When she arrived in Anchorage, she went to a [REDACTED]. She commented that she did not go directly to Anchorage but went to the home of [REDACTED] whose residence is located on [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Fairbanks, Alaska.
