The following investigation was conducted by SA [REDACTED] at Estacada, Oregon:
On January 9, 1978, [REDACTED] telephone number [REDACTED] advised that in recent months he worked on [REDACTED] just above Woodland, Washington, at the completed end [REDACTED] which is located near Devil's Peak, northeast of Woodland, approximately [REDACTED] Washington, from Woodland. [REDACTED] advised to get there you [REDACTED] [REDACTED] to the area currently [REDACTED] [REDACTED] immigrant who works for Weyerhaeuser Logging Company [REDACTED] advised the area [REDACTED] from Ariel, Washington, to Woodland to Kalama. He further indicated it would not take an expert to make a parachute jump into that area. He further indicated to his knowledge this [REDACTED] in the direct flight path of the D. B. COOPER aircraft.

[REDACTED] forced [REDACTED] to terminate his lease in the middle of his contract. He wanted him out for some strange reason. [REDACTED] advised that [REDACTED] has set up [REDACTED] [REDACTED] in an effort to keep people away.
