For information of Denver and Seattle, an article written by [REDACTED] for World News Service, New York City, New York, concerning captioned case, appeared in the [REDACTED] issue of the "Star," a weekly supermarket newspaper. The article mentioned the name of Portland case agent, SA [REDACTED] and since the article appeared, SA [REDACTED] has received several personal letters from individuals across the country suggesting logical suspects. The original of enclosed letter was received at Portland, 3/6/78, and suggests [REDACTED] Colorado [REDACTED] as a suspect in this matter. The letter enclosed a clipped portion of a snapshot, partly displaying an adult male who appears to have reddish-blond hair. A Xerox copy of this snapshot is set forth in enclosure, but did not copy very well.
