The following investigation was conducted by Special Agent [REDACTED] on April 6, 1978:
[REDACTED], New Mexico, advised she has been here many years and is well acquainted with [REDACTED]. She viewed a copy of the composite made of the unknown subject in this case and stated that there is definitely no resemblance between that composite and [REDACTED]. She added that [REDACTED] is a much younger individual and does not have a swarthy complexion.

[REDACTED] of the Tunnel Bar and Cafe, [REDACTED] New Mexico, advised he has lived here many years and is well acquainted with [REDACTED]. As a matter of fact he advised that [REDACTED]. He added that [REDACTED] in Alamogordo, New Mexico. [REDACTED] advised that the [REDACTED] live in a [REDACTED] and after viewing a copy of the composite of unknown subject in this case advised that this is definitely not [REDACTED].

[REDACTED] Credit Bureau of Alamogordo, New Mexico, advised that according to her files [REDACTED] has been in file since 1967 and had a previous address of Reserve, New Mexico. He has several accounts which are rated satisfactory, the larges of which is [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] She noted the file reflects inquiries on [REDACTED] credit rating from 1967 to 1970, and then there was no activity in this account from 1970 to 1974. She feels that [REDACTED] was living elsewhere during that period of time, which explains the reason for lack of activity on his account.

[REDACTED] Otero County Sheriff's Office, advised he has been a law enforcement officer in this area for 22 years and is well acquainted with the residents of this county. He added that he is acquainted with [REDACTED] and after viewing a composite of the unknown subject in this matter advised that in his opinion this has no resemblance to [REDACTED]. He stated, however, [REDACTED] the Tunnel Bar in [REDACTED] New Mexico, and would know [REDACTED] much better than anyone else in this area. He further advised that his records contain no reference whatsoever to [REDACTED].
