Enclosed for the Alexandria Division is one (1) copy of an FD-302 reflecting interview with [REDACTED] b6 dated 5/19/78, and one (1) copy of WFO teletype to the b7C Bureau dated 8/2/77.
For the information of the Alexandria Division, JACK COFFELT has been suggested as a suspect in this matter and has been processed and eliminated. The television show "60 Minutes" is interested in doing an expose' in which they claim the FBI is covering up the fact that COFFELT is really identical to Unsub in this matter.
According to [REDACTED] b6 at [REDACTED] Arlington, Virginia, on b7C November 24, 1971, the date of captioned hijacking. Living in an adjacent building was an attorney [REDACTED]
[REDACTED] Arlington, Viriginia.
The [REDACTED] allegedly lived at the [REDACTED] b6 [REDACTED] and had telephone number [REDACTED] b7C
In order that it might be possible to answer some of the questions that "60 Minutes" might come up with prior to their "60 Minutes" segment on JACK COFFELT, the following leads are set out.

Will conduct the following investigations:
1. Conduct a complete and thorough neighborhood investigation at [REDACTED] to include an interview of any resident at that address who was living there at the time [REDACTED] lived there and also to include an interview of [REDACTED]
2. Will conduct long distance toll records of telephone number [REDACTED] after verifying that telephone number to have been subscribed to by JACK [REDACTED] [REDACTED] (Alexandria advise Seattle if a subpoena will be necessary for this information as well as whether the information is still available.
3. Conduct credit and criminal checks concerning [REDACTED] and determine if possible, perhaps through the records of the [REDACTED] was paid and if by check, which bank it was drawn on. Thereafter contact the appropriate bank to determine financial information which may indicate [REDACTED] presence in the Alexandria, Virginia, area on November 24, 1971. (Alexandria advise Seattle if a subpoena will be necessary for these bank records)
4. Conduct any and all leads in the vicinity of [REDACTED] in Arlington that may indicate any information concerning [REDACTED] and possibly lead to information which would indicate where JACK COFFELT was on November 24, 1971.
