Specimens received Result of examination:
A description of the evidence submitted with Portland communication dated February 13, 1980, was listed in Laboratory report dated February 25, 1980.
Specimen Q59 contains sand that exhibits characteristics which indicate it was subjected to erosional processes, i.e. moving water, and is consistent with having come from sediment which was deposited by the Columbia River.
Q59 is enclosed herewith. The disposition of Q58 will be furnished with the results of the requested fingerprint examination.
