[REDACTED] was advised of the official identity of the interviewing Agent and was requested to provide any information that he may have concerning the hijacking of NORTHWEST AIRLINES Flight 305 which occurred in 1971 and any information concerning the hijacker who has been identified as D. B. COOPER.
By way of explanation, [REDACTED] advised that he is a sky diver as a hobby and has developed an interest in the D. B. COOPER skyjacking as a result of information that he has obtained, and that this information initially started with [REDACTED] [REDACTED] of Provo, Utah. He explained that [REDACTED] can be reached at telephone number [REDACTED] at Provo, Utah, and that [REDACTED] at BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY. [REDACTED] told [REDACTED] that several years ago, she became acquainted with an individual by the name of [REDACTED] and that [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] at a facility [REDACTED] Utah. [REDACTED] and subsequently, provided [REDACTED] with [REDACTED] which [REDACTED] and used [REDACTED] After the [REDACTED] [REDACTED] and that the [REDACTED]

As mentioned earlier, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] located at [REDACTED] Utah. During his acquaintanceship with [REDACTED] he has observed that [REDACTED] spends large quantities of twenty dollar bills and seems to enjoy calling attention to this oddity. He has heard [REDACTED] boast of claiming to know the full identity of D. B. COOPER, and the complete details of the hijacking of the NORTHWEST AIRLINES flight which COOPER is accused of hijacking.

[REDACTED] has bragged about knowing full details of the hijacking including information concerning the selection of the airline, the selection of the flight crew, details of the actual jump from the aircraft and subsequent get away from the scene of the parachute escape, and disposition of the money from the hijacking.

[REDACTED] is of the impression that in 1973, [REDACTED] paid [REDACTED] in cash for a [REDACTED] and that the [REDACTED] is located in Lehigh, Utah. This [REDACTED] was obtained as a result of the proceeds from the NORTHWEST AIRLINES hijacking. During this same time period, (1973) [REDACTED] (Name Unknown), who was believed to be indigent, purchased a [REDACTED] bank certificate of deposit.

In addition, [REDACTED] has a PARA-COMMANDER parachute, red and yellow in color. On each Thanksgiving evening, he takes this parachute out and makes what is believed to be an anniversary jump from 10,500 feet celebrating the NORTHWEST AIRLINES hijacking. [REDACTED] has alleged that this is the very same parachute that he used during the hijacking.
