Re Seattle airtel to Sacramento, 8/7/89 (copy to Salt Lake City).

Re [REDACTED] (Ph) ("UNSOLVED MYSTERIES" LEAD)

On 8/31/89 and 9/1/89, contact was made by Sacramento with [REDACTED] at telephone [REDACTED]. As a result of these contacts, it was determined that this person is [REDACTED] [REDACTED] currently residing at [REDACTED] Sacramento, California (former residence [REDACTED] Sacramento). It was also determined that [REDACTED] has previously furnished essentially the same infor- mation regarding [REDACTED] (WM, DOB: [REDACTED], to the FBI in Sacramento in 1985, which was in turn furnished to Seattle and the then-Butte Divisions for appropriate follow-up as a suspect in this case.

Sacramento notes that [REDACTED] was interviewed by the Butte Division in Billings, Montana, per Butte 302 dated 4/10/85; and that several communications were sent during 1985 (March-Sept. 1985) regarding [REDACTED] as a possible suspect, all involving Seattle, Butte, and Sacramento. From a review of the Sacramento file, it appears that [REDACTED] had been eliminated as a suspect; and that Seattle and Salt Lake City (formerly Butte) were in possession of all available information at that time.

---

To update recipients, according to [REDACTED] [REDACTED] still lives in Billings, Montana and does business as [REDACTED] said she last physically saw [REDACTED] years ago, when she was [REDACTED] and that her most recent phone contact with him was about [REDACTED] months ago. [REDACTED] also stated that [REDACTED] lives in LaCross, Wisconsin, and has no idea that [REDACTED] is remotely considered as a possible NORJACK suspect.

---

Since all other Sacramento investigation in this matter has been summarized in Sacramento airtel to Seattle dated 9/18/89, this case is being placed in an RUC status at Sacramento.
