What does the scan show?
A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

Dear [REDACTED]
Thanks for the letter. I can write long letters but my Spanish girl can't type them. We will [guess: rotate] this one at least ten times.
[REDACTED] hold on to your ass for a story. I am being checked by the F.B.I. for hijacking an aeroplane the night of Nov. 23, 1971 in Oregon. The next day I flew to Costa Rica and so- mebody looked at the F.B.I. sketch and said it looks like [REDACTED]
The local police had me in for two sessions. Got hold of the Embassy and told them to get the problem straightened out. Hell of a mess.
They are questioning All My Friends in L.A. About me and my where a- bouts Nov. 23-71.
So get the word to them, and tell them no real problem. It could be embarrassing to some of them to have the F.B.I. call on them at home, or any other place.
Isn't this some story. Will fill you in on complete story, When I see you. Like a Perry Mason story.
Hello to all and Ill see you in Sept.
Please answ[er]
