Dear [REDACTED]

---

Thank you for sending the nice, informative letter. I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner, but shortly after our phone conversation I had to leave for Los Angeles for 10 days. I am hoping to negotiate a television movie deal on Jack's story about D.B. Cooper. My trip to Memphis will have to be postponed [guess: by] until after New Years, but I hope to see you in January and will bring the book with me then. Could you send the photos [guess: people] of you and Jack in Mexico that you mentioned in your letter? I can have it nicely reproduced in our photo lab here and will return the original plus a copy and a negative for you.

If I can develop interest in this story in Hollywood, I am sure

[redacted] that you and [redacted] could perhaps be a part of a television script. It takes a lot of negotiating, but I think eventually this will make a nice story for TV, and I'll do my best to get it going.

Hope all is going well with you and [redacted] and look forward to seeing you next month. The photographs and the letter from the parole board concerning Jack will both be very helpful to me in trying to sell the story to Hollywood, so please send them if you will as soon as possible. I'll be in touch soon. Hope you enjoy the articles.

Take care, [redacted]
