[REDACTED] TRI-COUNTY METRO NARCOTICS SQUAD, Lansing, Michigan provided information concerning [REDACTED] advised it had come to his attention that [REDACTED] was rumored to be identical with D. B. COOPER, subject of captioned investigation. [REDACTED] stated he had been informed that [REDACTED] was an accomplished sky diver and had been in the ARMY from [REDACTED] to [REDACTED] where he was stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia and attended jump school there.
[REDACTED] provided rap sheets and photographs concerning the criminal history for [REDACTED] which are attached to this memorandum.

The author reviewed the attached photographs of [redacted] and noted they depicted a stocky, white male, approximately 5'11" in height with a [redacted] In view of the fact [redacted] would have been [redacted] years old at the time of the hijacking and in view of the fact that he has a distinct feature, that of [redacted] which was not mentioned by any of the witnesses who described the unknown subject in this matter, no further investigation will be conducted concerning [redacted] as it pertains to captioned matter.
