On 7/21/93, [REDACTED] Everett, Washington [REDACTED] home telephone [REDACTED] advised that he had a friend named [REDACTED] who [REDACTED] suspected to be identical with UNSUB in this matter. According to [REDACTED] claimed to be D. B. COOPER in 1972 while [REDACTED]
[REDACTED] advised that he has not seen [REDACTED] for approximately 15 years. He did furnish the following background information concerning him:

In view of the fact that [REDACTED] would have been 34- 37 years old at the time of the hijacking and UNSUB was described as in his mid 40's; and also in view of the fact that [REDACTED] hair is light colored, his eyes are blue, and his complexion is light, these physical discrepancies would tend to illuminate him as a possible suspect in this matter. Unless further information is received concerning [REDACTED] no further investigation should be conducted concerning him at this time.
