Facts of complaint

[REDACTED] who lives part-time in Calgary, Canada advised that he believes that he knows who DB Cooper is. [REDACTED] advised that he was going to fax a photo of a person he has known for 25 years whom he believes is Cooper. The individual does not live in either the US or Canada now, but [REDACTED] knows where he lives. He has heard this individual brag about jumping out of aircraft with a body belt loaded with money. In 1981 he returned to the US at the same time that some of the money believed to have been recovered from the hijacking, was found. [REDACTED] advised that the individual he believes is Cooper is often armed with a 9mm Browning, and that he considers him to be very dangerous. [REDACTED] will furnish full information about this individual if the FBI believes he could be Cooper, after looking at the photo he will fax.
