Details: Referenced serial provided information to Seattle concerning [REDACTED] date of birth [REDACTED] has claimed to have specific knowledge of captioned event and the current location of the ransom money paid. For reference, Seattle has enclosed for Omaha a case information sheet that should help in any interview. The bulk of the $200,000 was never recovered. It is up to the discretion of Omaha if it is deemed more appropriate to obtain additional information first via the use of the [REDACTED] son, who has come forward with this matter.
Referenced EC indicated that Omaha was unable to determine if [REDACTED] is still in custody. It is necessary to conduct logical investigation to locate and interview him concerning this claim.
