SAC, [REDACTED] 1/25/72 SA [REDACTED]

[REDACTED] INFORMATION CONCERNING

---

On 1/18/72, a letter was received at the Los Angeles Office directed to the Special Agent in Charge, requesting a copy of a booklet containing the list of ransom bills in NORJAK matter.

This letter was signed by [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Los Angeles, California.

Los Angeles files reveal [REDACTED] is identical to person who called Los Angeles Office in [REDACTED] said [REDACTED] [REDACTED] she requested a tour of the New York FBI Office and requested information from the Philadelphia Office.

She is the subject of [REDACTED] and investigation revealed she was mentally unstable.

On 1/18/72, [REDACTED] was telephonically contacted by the writer and advised she had no particular purpose for the list of NORJAK ransom bills. She had one bill, which she stated she no longer had, which was going to be compared with the list. It was politely explained to [REDACTED] that this office would check any bills she has reason to believe might be part of the ransom money, but the booklet is not being distributed on an individual basis, unless some special reason exists for doing so.

She politely acknowledged this reasoning and indicated she had no twenty dollar bills she desired to check at this time.
