RE: BRADLEY E. AYERS

---

Washington County Sheriff WESTPHAL, Stillwater, Minnesota, confidentially advised that he had received information to the effect that BRADLEY AYERS, who resides 2933 Manning Avenue North, Lake Elmo, Minnesota, could possibly be considered a suspect in this case. AYERS formerly served with the CIA and has a background of parachuting. AYERS is described as follows:

Name BRADLEY E. AYERS Residence Route #1, Lake Elmo, Minnesota Date of Birth March 7, 1935 Height 5'8" Weight 150 pounds Date appointed March, 1970 Occupation Commercial pilot; Bradley E. and Lee Ayers Insurance Company 2933 Manning Avenue North Lake Elmo, Minnesota

---

[REDACTED], Ramsey County Sheriff's Office, advised that in September, 1971, AYERS was a very strong suspect [REDACTED] He had a very strong case against AYERS but when AYERS was to appear in a show-up to be witnessed by the victim, he left the area and was later found to be in the State of Florida. [REDACTED] stated that investigation fairly well established that AYERS was in Florida in November, 1971, when NORJAK occurred. However, positive proof has not been obtained as yet.

---

A good photograph and a very detailed resume of the [REDACTED] involving AYERS is in the possession of the Ramsey County Prosecutor's office. The case was being handled by [REDACTED] [REDACTED] assistant prosecuting attorney [REDACTED] A back- ground investigation was conducted concerning AYERS, who apparently participated in the Bay of Pigs Invasion and [REDACTED] CIA [REDACTED] activities.
