Re Salt Lake City telcall to Los Angeles, today.
Resident Agent [REDACTED], Cedar City, Utah, tele- phonically contacted the writer and advised that their Office had been contacted by one [REDACTED] stated that his parents in Los Angeles, California, had recently been contacted by FBI Agents concerning an aircraft hijacking. [REDACTED] was provided with complete background information available regarding the activities of [REDACTED] which had brought about his consideration as a suspect in the NORJAK case. He was also provided with the results of the investigation con- ducted to date in Los Angeles.
[REDACTED] stated that arrangements would be made to interview [REDACTED] who was currently staying at the [REDACTED] [REDACTED] St. George, Utah. He stated that it was not necessary to provide the information given to him telephonically by tele- type since it would not be available to him at the Resident Agency. He would provide the results of the interview with [REDACTED]
