Re Butte airtel to Seattle dated 8/23/72.
On 9/1/72, [REDACTED] Granada Hills, California, was interviewed and advised that he had been given a copy of the book [REDACTED] of the Columbia Recording Company.
[REDACTED] was interviewed at his medical office and was observed to be a white male, 5'7" to 5'8" in height, and heavy build. He does not appear to resemble the artist's conception of the hijacker in any way.
He was extremely cooperative, stating to the best of his knowledge, the book had been furnished for review to Random House Publishing Company and to [REDACTED] [REDACTED] West Los Angeles, California.
He advised that Random House held the book for review only a few days and [REDACTED] had the book for about a week or two. He now has the book and no one else has had an opportunity to read it. [REDACTED] continued stating that he thinks the book is very interesting and well written, as do [REDACTED]
He confidentially stated [REDACTED]

[REDACTED] and requested this information be kept strictly confidential.
He added that [REDACTED] is a long time friend and [REDACTED] He is of the opinion she read the book, furnished her appraisal of it, and returned it to him. He does not believe she would have made the contents of the book available to anyone else.
He was unaware of who might have read the book for Random House Publishing Company, but in view of the very short time they kept the book he knows it could not have been widely read or even thoroughly reviewed.
