REGARDING SUSPECT [REDACTED]
On 12/29/72, [REDACTED] (note correct spelling of name), [REDACTED] Santa Ana, California, telephone number [REDACTED] was interviewed at his residence. He advised that [REDACTED] is identical to [REDACTED] (Phonetic), described as white, male, American, 24 to 26, 5'8", 160, short reddish blond hair, stocky build, ruddy complexion. He advised that he met [REDACTED] approximately three years ago in Dallas, Texas, at [REDACTED] where [REDACTED] was working [REDACTED] is presently living he believes somewhere in Orange County, California, [REDACTED] name unknown. [REDACTED] worked at one time for [REDACTED] Tulsa, Oklahoma, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] is a [REDACTED] last worked for an unknown [REDACTED] somewhere in Arkansas.
[REDACTED] advised that at no time did he ever discuss captioned matter with [REDACTED] nor did he ever hear [REDACTED] state that he was in fact the skyjacker or had anything to do with the crime. He has received no information to indicate that [REDACTED] is the skyjacker. [REDACTED] is a quiet individual, considered

to be a very competent [redacted] In order to attempt to establish reliability to the initial source of the information suggesting [redacted] as the suspect, [redacted] was advised that the source of the information was [redacted]
He advised that [redacted] has [redacted] in the past. [redacted] received a [redacted] from the United States Marine Corps for a reason unknown to him. Several months ago [redacted] was [redacted] [redacted] Long Beach, California, for an [redacted] and also [redacted] has expressed a dislike for the [redacted] for several reasons. [redacted] [redacted] were [redacted]
[redacted] this caused a family squabble. [redacted] never received any compensation from [redacted]
In early December 1972, [redacted] [redacted] the house [redacted] are now residing. It was decided by the [redacted] that the house would be sold but that [redacted] [redacted] could live in the house, rent free, until the house was sold, to assist them financially. [redacted] was quite unhappy that they were allowed to do this as he thought that he should have been allowed to live rent free in the house.
[redacted] stated that [redacted] has been the subject of [redacted] and he feels that [redacted] would have made up a story and furnished information to the FBI just to cause embarrassment and harassment to the [redacted].
In view of the above, Los Angeles suggests that no further investigation be conducted to locate [redacted] [redacted] UAC Seattle.
An information copy of this communication is being furnished to Albuquerque for completion of office files.
