AT GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA

On November 8, 1973, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] were interviewed in the vicinity of [REDACTED] Glendale, California. Both expressed an interest in any reward being offered in connection with the Seattle hijacking and [REDACTED] advised he had been in contact with Northwest Orient Airlines regarding possible rewards.

[REDACTED] had compiled handwritten notations concerning background of [REDACTED] and reasons why they believed he should be considered as a suspect in this matter.

On February 9, 1973, [REDACTED] made available a photo of [REDACTED] and described this photo as an excellent likeness of him.

Both [REDACTED] observed an artist's conception of the hijacker and neither believed the artist's conception was a good likeness of [REDACTED] however, only minor differences were noted such as the length and width of the face. Both thought the eyes and nose appeared similar.

---

On November 6, 1973, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Glendale, California, tele- phonically contacted the Los Angeles Office of the FBI. [REDACTED] claimed [REDACTED] got into a car with Oregon license plates on it and hurriedly drove off. Efforts by [REDACTED] to speak with this individual were reportedly ignored.

Based on the above, the following investigation was conducted by SA [REDACTED] in the Los Angeles, California, area:
