A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

RE: Suspect JACK BRYANT COFFELT
Leads have been set out by the Los Angeles Division to ascertain if COFFELT is a logical suspect in this matter.
Upon receipt of results of the interview of [REDACTED] in Honolulu, Hawaii, this matter should b6 be re-evaluated to ascertain if additional investigation b7C is warranted or if additional leads should be set out in an attempt to establish the whereabouts of COFFELT who was reportedly in the Washington, D.C. area at the time of the hijacking.
SA JOSEPH C. ALSTON has been present during all pertinent interviews regarding suspect COFFELT and is generally aware of the status of this phase.
In view of SA [REDACTED] reassignment b6 to the Redondo Beach RA, it is recommended this case be b7C reassigned.
