Dear Sir,

My name is [REDACTED] and my [REDACTED] grade class is doing a project on unsolved crimes. I have chosen the D.B. Cooper case. The man who jumped out of an airplane with thousands of dollars and was never heard of or seen again. I wondered if you could help me with the general information in the case. After starting on this project I think I would like to become an F.B.I. agent. Any help or ideas will be appreciated.

I am sending you a self addressed envelope so you can save time & help me. I know you are busy & I will understand if you can't

Sincerely [REDACTED]

P.S. Project is due 4-25-[illegible]
