[REDACTED] for WEST MAGAZINE, Los Angeles Time newspaper, telephonically contacted this office in regards to a story that his magazine plans on publishing. [REDACTED] advised that he had contacted the Los Angeles office of the FBI and they referred him to Seattle.
[REDACTED] indicated that his magazine, a supplement to the Los Angeles Times newspaper, [is/was] planning a feature article on the "UNSUB; Northwest Airlines Skyjacking," and any information that could be furnished the magazine would be appreciated. [REDACTED] requested that he be furnished with a photo of the composite drawing, descriptive data and any other non*classified information that would assist in writing the article.
