On July 20, 1976, an anonymous call was received at the Columbus, Ohio Resident Agency from a female caller who sounded rational to the recipient. She stated, "I have known the resident of [REDACTED] for over two years and he is D. B. Cooper. [REDACTED]" The caller would furnish no further information and terminated the call.

On July 21, 1976, the residence at [REDACTED] was observed to be an older residential structure in the area of Ohio State University (OSU). The residence has [REDACTED] [REDACTED]

[REDACTED] was interviewed and he advised that he does not know the [REDACTED], but stated that the [REDACTED] advised that he has lived at [REDACTED] for approximately five years and has known [REDACTED] [REDACTED] for the past three to four years. He stated that [REDACTED] inasmuch as he hears him all night long [REDACTED] in his apartment. He described [REDACTED] as 6', slender, wears horn rimmed glasses, brown eyes, blond hair, and [REDACTED] [REDACTED] continuously.

[REDACTED] who also resides in this building, was interviewed. [REDACTED] is a white male, 5'9", 180 pounds, born [REDACTED], who has resided at [REDACTED] for approximately three weeks. [REDACTED] was observed to appear in his 60s, and had gray receding hair. He stated that he does not know the occupant of [REDACTED] but described the occupant as a white male, age 30s, 6', and [REDACTED].
