Re: Sub J MISCELLANEOUS PERSONS

---

On 12/30/75, [REDACTED], Seattle, Washington, [REDACTED], appeared at the Seattle Office and offered his theory as to the solution to the Norjak crime.

[REDACTED] stated it was his impression that the [REDACTED] (phonetic) was, in reality, D. B. COOPER. [REDACTED] stated [REDACTED] got off the plane in Portland, went into the terminal, hid his flight jacket in a bag, put on a topcoat, bought a ticket for Seattle, got on the plane and perpetrated the crime. When the plane was cleared, [REDACTED] then landed in Reno and claimed that the hijacker had bailed out.

[REDACTED] stated that he is [REDACTED] and had been listening to the [REDACTED] explained that he was listening to the pilot talk to the tower and it seemed to him that this was a possibility based on what he remembers happened on the night of November 24, 1971.

As this aspect of the investigation has been thoroughly looked into, no further investigation will be conducted concerning this aspect at this time.
