Re memos of SC [REDACTED], 2/6/75 and 3/11/75.

Review of this matter would indicate that neither subject [REDACTED] victim, LEGITT, involved in captioned matter, is identical with Unsub, aka Dan Cooper, the subject of captioned 164 matter. It is to be noted that COOPER is described as being in his mid 40's, 5'10" to 6'0", 170-180 pounds. Subject, [REDACTED] is 6'1", weighs 210 pounds and has very definitely re- ceding hair. His appearance is very distinctive looking and anyone having viewed him would remember him for his large size as well as for the receding nature of his hair- line.
---
[REDACTED] and therefore, would have been approximately 30 at the time of the hijacking in- volved in the 164 matter. He was 5'10 1/2", weighed 220 pounds and, according to persons who were acquainted with him, was very distinctive in appearance because of his heavy appearance.

that it had been buried by members of [REDACTED] [REDACTED] and that the money had come from bank robberies. This was his story concerning the money throughout and it would appear that this is the valid basis for his story inasmuch as [REDACTED] a number of individuals [REDACTED] had been involved [REDACTED] [REDACTED] in the Eugene, Oregon area. In view of the [REDACTED], it would appear that if he knew that the money had in fact come from a hijacking, he would have indicated this.
---
In addition to this, [REDACTED] was an individual who spent whatever money he could make and [REDACTED] [REDACTED]. He had held num- erous jobs on a part time basis [REDACTED] [REDACTED] related jobs and it would appear that if he had in fact knew of the location of the buried money, he would have obtained this and spent it in order to improve his life style.
---
In view of the above, it does not appear that either [REDACTED] is identical with the Unsub in Norjak (Seattle file 164-81).
