[REDACTED], Washington, advised that a white male who identified himself as [REDACTED], Nevada, rented a house [REDACTED] on September 27, 1971, which was located on [REDACTED], [REDACTED]. This house was unfurnished and [REDACTED] advised he is sure this man never lived in the house for at no time did he ever see him bring anything to the house except a few personal possessions in a late model white Datsun stationwagon. The rent of [REDACTED] a month in advance was paid by check, number [REDACTED], dated September 27, 1971, drawn on the [REDACTED] [REDACTED], Nevada, with a transit number of [REDACTED]. This check had the name of [REDACTED] [REDACTED] on its face but had no address. [REDACTED] advised another check in the amount of [REDACTED] was paid for the second month rent in advance on October 28, 1971.
[REDACTED] recalled that this man and a white woman who was with him moved the few belongings they had in the house from the place on November 28, 1971. [REDACTED] also advised that this man told him that he had [REDACTED] but at no time did [REDACTED] in or about the property and further the man told him several untruths for some unexplained reason, one of which he recalled was that the [REDACTED] were returning to [REDACTED], Nevada, and the next day he observed that the woman was still there.
He further recalled that this man told him he was unemployed and in reply to questions by [REDACTED] whether he could meet the rent of [REDACTED] per month, he stated he could. He further advised that no mention was made of any source of income of this individual but the two checks were pro- cessed for collection with no problem.
[REDACTED] advised that he observed this man moving his possessions from the house on November 28, 1971, and is sure that there was no furniture in the boxes. Further, he stated that he is sure the man never lived in the house and has no reason to offer for his having rented it for two months.
