For your information the Air Transport Association, Washington, D. C., which is acting as the administrator of a reward program designed to pay for information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons involved in aircraft piracy etc., was contacted concerning the offering of a reward relative to captioned case. They have advised that they have considered providing such a reward concerning this case and that formal notification will be forthcoming. You will be advised upon receipt of this information.

With regard to the additional suggestion you made relative to the fact that nationwide circularization be made of all banks, savings and loan associations, and commercial companies who have available safe deposit boxes on the theory that . . subject may have escaped safety and secreted money in such a box is not being approved. Wide circularization has already been provided banking type institutions relative to the ransom list in this case.
