Re Seattle nitel to Atlanta, dated 12/20/71.

Search presently being conducted, records Delta Airlines, Atlanta, Georgia, to develop possible suspects among any recently discharged pilots, flight engineers or unsuccessful applicants.

---

[REDACTED] suggests that pilots union known as Airlines Pilots Association (ALPA) located at Washington, D. C., might be a logical source for information of this type in that they vigorously pursue grievances resulting from discharges, layoffs, etc., of pilots and flight engineers. ALPA represents approximately 95 percent of all commercial airline pilots.

Results of check requested in referenced nitel will be furnished immediately upon receipt.
