A person reads every report. Corrections are made by hand, to the data — titles, dates, names, which pages belong together — never to the scans, and they can take a while to appear.

On 2/13/74, [REDACTED], of the Aberrant Behavior Center, Dallas, Texas, was personally contacted by SA [REDACTED] and his letter of 1/25/74 to the Bureau was acknowledged. Dear Mr. Kelly:
Thank you for the recent copy of the extortion note in the Trans World Airlines aircraft bombing case. It is my understanding other communications from the offender were received by telephone and transcribed in the offender's own words. Would it be possible to have copies of those phone messages that dealt with such matters as the locations of explosives, leasing and dispatch of STOL aircraft, etc.? Undoubtedly valuable psycholinguistic clues would be involved in these instructions. Is it possible any of these calls were tape recorded?
I appreciate this opportunity for informal association.
Sincerely,
[REDACTED]
