Remymemo, dated 12/3/73.

Suspect [REDACTED] was located and b6 interviewed on above date concerning this matter. It is b7C noted [REDACTED] is a small man, prematurely balding, and does not resemble the description of Unsub. [REDACTED] advised he is currently employed at [REDACTED] [REDACTED], Oregon, and can be reached at either [REDACTED] employment, or [REDACTED] [REDACTED] exact address unknown. [REDACTED] advised that since the violation in this b6 matter, he has been quite interested in all the newspaper b7C accounts relating to it, and has become somewhat of an expert on the case as a hobby. He stated that he has formed a theory that a very good place to parachute under the cir- cumstances of this matter would have been the area with which he is very familiar, the Peet's Mountain area.

[REDACTED] stated that he has discussed his ideas on b6 this case on numerous occasions with many people, and that b7C it is possible he has given someone the impression that he actually has information concerning the Unsub, which he does not have. In view of the above, no further investigation of this lead appears warranted.
