On 4/23/74, E. ALLEN PROPST, 253 Scravel Hill Road, Albany, Oregon, telephone 926-2475, was contacted at 1121 Fairfield Street, Eugene, Oregon, where he volunteered the following information:

PROPST advised that when he was previously interviewed by SA [REDACTED] approximately two months ago concerning captioned matter, he hesitated to trust SA [REDACTED] and, therefore, withheld information as to the true identity of D. B. COOPER. Since that time he has "checked out" [REDACTED] and feels he can now put his trust in the FBI. He stated COOPER is identical to the following individual:

At this point, PROPST produced a photograph which he claims is a photograph of [REDACTED]. The person depicted in this photograph bears a very definite resemblance to the composite drawing of D. B. COOPER. PROPST made this photo available to SA [REDACTED] and the photo has been retained.

Based on the above facts and the fact that [REDACTED] looks exactly like the composite drawing of COOPER, PROPST concludes [REDACTED] is identical to COOPER. While furnishing the above information, he rambled about former President LYNDON JOHNSON having connections with the "Portland mob" and further claimed that [REDACTED] were involved in the hijacking of captioned matter, including [REDACTED] [REDACTED] in Seattle, Washington.
