Re Portland letter to Seattle dated 8/29/77; Portland letter to Seattle dated 1/13/78; Portland letter to Seattle dated 2/15/78.
For information of Butte, the Portland Office in August, 1977, received information that one [REDACTED], then residing near [REDACTED] on the Oregon coast and employed as [REDACTED] had claimed to have knowledge of and the inside story concerning the hijacking in this matter. [REDACTED] had reportedly [REDACTED] was unwilling to cooperate.
Investigation by Portland has identified [REDACTED] as WMA, DOB [REDACTED], 5' 11", 170 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes, SSAN [REDACTED]; he has not yet been located for interview.
