[REDACTED], [guess: of] Washington, [REDACTED], advised that when [REDACTED] discussing the hijacking, they discussed the possibility of [REDACTED] in Portland pulling this job. [REDACTED] felt that [REDACTED], TED MAYFIELD, would be the man.
MAYFIELD is an experienced jumper with over 2,000 free fall jumps. He is reportedly in financial trouble, and was reportedly tried approximately a year ago for an armed burglary in Portland. MAYFIELD has made numerous jumps at night, and has made numerous jumps from above the altitude of 10,000 feet. He is probably one of the leading Sport parachutist in the United States, and has jumped in several National Championships. It might also be noted that MAYFIELD has made numerous jumps into water and is very experienced with this phase of jumping.
