The following investigation was conducted by Special Agent [REDACTED] at Denver, Colorado.
On September 7, 1989, Denver telephone number [REDACTED] [REDACTED], was contacted in an effort to locate [REDACTED]. It was determined through conversation with the subscriber to that telephone, [REDACTED] Denver, Colorado, as well as confirmation through US WEST crisscross directories that that number is assigned to [REDACTED] advised that [REDACTED] [REDACTED] is unknown to her.
A review of the Intrawest crisscross directory and the US WEST telephone directory determined that there is only one listing in the Denver, metropolitan area for [REDACTED].
On September 7, 1989, telephone number [REDACTED] was contacted concerning the "unsolved mysteries" television broadcast in October of 1988. [REDACTED] advised that he had never contacted the FBI concerning that show and has no information to furnish. In addition, he has never heard of [REDACTED].

AT NORTHGLENN, COLORADO
On September 9, 1989, [REDACTED] [REDACTED], Northglenn, Colorado [REDACTED], residence telephone number [REDACTED], was contacted concerning information he may have relating to DON BURNWORTH and BURNWORTH's relationship to the hijacking of a Northwest airlines flight in Seattle, Washington, in 1971.
[REDACTED] advised that he saw a television program "UNSOLVED MYSTERIES" and realized that a [REDACTED] DON BURNWORTH could conceivably be the D. B. COOPER. He stated that BURNWORTH is currently a United Airlines Pilot and that he formerly resided [REDACTED] residence. [REDACTED] stated that there was considerable gossip in prior years [REDACTED] and a [REDACTED] concerning BURNWORTH and the fact that BURNWORTH could be D. B. COOPER. [REDACTED] stated that [REDACTED] [REDACTED] that BURNWORTH is D. B. COOPER. [REDACTED] further noted that the [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was named [REDACTED] and that BURNWORTH's initials are D. B.

On September 7, 1989, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Thornton, Colorado [REDACTED], business telephone number [REDACTED] was contacted concerning DON BURNWORTH.
[REDACTED] stated that [REDACTED] is a [REDACTED] [REDACTED]. He stated that both [REDACTED] knew DON BURNWORTH, and based on statements made by BURNWORTH, they feel there is a possibility that BURNWORTH could be D. B. COOPER, who is responsible for the hijacking of a Northwest airlines plane from Seattle, Washington, in 1971. [REDACTED] stated that several years ago, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] He described the [REDACTED] [REDACTED] the Northwest airlines airplane by COOPER. He believes that [REDACTED] who resides on [REDACTED] in Denver, Colorado, may still have [REDACTED]. BURNWORTH has a [REDACTED] [REDACTED] in Arvada, Colorado, and that [REDACTED] has knowledge concerning BURNWORTH's relationship to D. B. COOPER.

On September 7, 1989, [REDACTED] [REDACTED], Denver, Colorado, was contacted at her residence where she has telephone number [REDACTED].
[REDACTED] was contacted concerning DON BURNWORTH. She stated that she has [REDACTED] to BURNWORTH. She met BURNWORTH [REDACTED]. She explained that she and her former husband, [REDACTED] the [REDACTED] located in Thornton, Colorado.
On one occasion, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] D. B. COOPER in connection with the hijacking of a Northwest airlines flight in 1971. In her opinion, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] She [REDACTED] several years ago. She believes that [REDACTED] [REDACTED] and does not believe that BURNWORTH is D. B. COOPER.

[REDACTED] stated that she is [REDACTED] and in addition [REDACTED] in Denver, Colorado, and formerly had a [REDACTED] [REDACTED] in Las Vegas, Nevada. She originally met DONALD BURNWORTH in [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] The [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] [REDACTED]. She described [REDACTED] who is a [REDACTED] [REDACTED]. She stated that BURNWORTH is a pilot for UNITED AIRLINES and she believes that he currently resides at 6650 Quitman Court, Arvada, Colorado. She described BURNWORTH as being obsessed with D. B. COOPER and during the time [REDACTED] dealing with COOPER. BURNWORTH claimed to have been arrested by the FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION in San Francisco, California, in 1974 or 1975, for being D. B. COOPER.

At one time, BURNWORTH [REDACTED] his D. B. COOPER [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] [REDACTED] He made numerous requests of her [REDACTED] [REDACTED]. He appeared to be obsessed with the law, courts, and lawsuits, and in an effort to appease him, [REDACTED] in Seattle, Washington, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] She made [REDACTED] [REDACTED] at which point [REDACTED] [REDACTED] COOPER did not bail out of the BOEING 727 aircraft. Instead, after the cabin attendants were sent forward to the cockpit area, COOPER actually hid in the ceiling area above the passenger compartment in the interior of the aircraft, and after it returned to Seattle, Washington, and was searched, he walked off the airplane.

She recalls seeing drawings of D. B. COOPER, and indicated that BURNWORTH does resemble those drawings. [REDACTED] claims to have [REDACTED] recalls seeing [REDACTED]; however, she does not [REDACTED].
She characterized BURNWORTH as a [REDACTED] who is obsessed with D. B. COOPER and who [REDACTED]. She believes that he could possibly be D. B. COOPER. She believes that BURNWORTH was born in February of 1931, and that he is still employed as a pilot for UNITED AIRLINES, is a member of the JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES CHURCH and as stated earlier, resides in Arvada, Colorado.
