---
[redacted] made several allegations concerning [redacted] including that he was a member of the Portland Mob. He made the same allegation concerning several individuals in the [redacted] Oregon area.
---
[redacted] compared the signature on the credentials of SA [redacted] with that of a signature of Director HOOVER contained on a letter which he had received, and he expressed doubt that the credentials were authentic. He then inquired of SA [redacted] why his face was no longer cut up, and when SA [redacted] replied that his face had never been marred as the result of a fight, [redacted] expressed disbelief. He said that on a prior occasion when this Agent had interviewed him, SA [redacted] had just been in a fight. [redacted] then pulled a .38 caliber weapon and holster from his belt and explained that during a previous interview with SA [redacted] he had taken the gun and pointed it with his finger on the trigger. When SA [redacted] explained to him that this had not occurred to his knowledge, [redacted] then indicated that apparently someone had been in the Albany, Oregon area impersonating SA [redacted]
---
During the above interview, [redacted] made numerous allegations involving [redacted] [redacted] and other members of the community. He further inferred that the FBI may be involved in conspiracy and mob activity itself.
---
In view of the numerous interviews of [redacted] in which no concrete information has been obtained, and due to his unusual comments and charges during these interviews, it is suggested that this matter not be pursued any further.
