SAC, SEATTLE (164-81) 5/1/72
SA CHARLES E. FARRELL
NORJAK
---
On 5/1/72 SA ROBERT STRANGER, NORJAK case Agent
at Los Angeles, advisedhe had just received a telephone
call from KARL FLEMING who asked for the name and telephone
number of the SAC of the Seattle Office. In that call he
indicated that he is more than willing to come to Seattle
to be of whatever assistance he can concerning the transcript
of the hijacker's story.
---
STRANGER said he also recommended to FLEMING that
he might want to consult with the United States Attorney
at Seattle and he was given the name of Mr. PITKIN and
PITKIN's telephone number. STRANGER also advised he had
talked to the doctor who has been handling the recovery
treatment of MAX PALEVSKY since his release from the hospital.
The doctor told SA STRANGER that PALEVSKY is now in France
and the doctor would not approve any contact with
PALEVSKY at this time. He expects that PALEVSKY will
return to the United States in about a month and would
anticipate that he might be well enough for an interview
at that time.
