RE: UNSUB; [REDACTED] - SOURCE
On 6/7/72, [REDACTED] Western Airlines, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) home address [REDACTED] Seattle, [REDACTED] advised that approximately two months ago she and [REDACTED] were in the bar at the Travelodge Motel and met [REDACTED] for Gov-Mart Stores, [REDACTED], who is now living in Portland. During the conversation the hijacking of Northwest Airlines by "D.B. COOPER" was brought up and at that time [REDACTED] related the following incident.
[REDACTED] said he met a man, name not known to [REDACTED], in a bar in Tacoma, Washington, who said he had been part of a Special Forces Group of perhaps seven or eight people who were involved in the attempt by the American government to free prisoners of war in Vietnam. This man reportedly had said that he was going "to do something big some day" and when he did no one would know who did it. The time period in which that statement was made was not clear to [REDACTED]. She mentioned it as did [REDACTED] as a possible suspect in the "D.B. COOPER" case.
