Enclosed for Seattle is a photograph of JOE HENRY ENGLE with his biographical sketch on the back, as well as a sheet entitled Biographical Data which further identifies ENGLE, both published by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for background purposes. A copy of the Biographical Data sheet is also enclosed for Los Angeles and St. Louis for information purposes.

On 10/31/72, RALPH JACKSON, Public Affairs, NASA Flight Research Center, Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB), California, identified the individual set forth as JOE ENGALL in referenced letter as JOE HENRY ENGLE, U. S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, presently assigned to the Manned Spacecraft Center, NASA, Houston, Texas, where he has been designated to serve as backup lunar module pilot for the forth-coming Apollo XIV mission.
---
JACKSON stated ENGLE was assigned to Edwards AFB where he took part in a research project approximately three years ago, and the only information regarding ENGLE's background available at EAFB is a Biographical Data sheet and a biographic sketch which is compiled on all NASA astronauts.
