was unable to identify Clair and it was him he would not change his life pattern. He would live the same life style, but without any money worries. He wouldn't pay cash for big things. [redacted box] never did. I know that if my information could solve this one I might have a chance to live a few years outside. I would say for sure if the witness says it could possibly be Clair than it would have to be him, and I know how to make him tip his mit. When a person is trying to cooperate they would appreciate a word instead of silence. I can think of one more answer to fit this puzzle together, but I don't like it as well as this one. I would take a lie detector test if it would help. If I could have wrote you when this came up I would have asked your advise before making a move. This is three letters to you & I would appreciate knowing you received them. Your Friend Howard
