Re memo of SC [REDACTED] dated 7/7/72.

On July 17, 1972, [REDACTED] Seattle, was contacted at his residence. [REDACTED] stated that the composite drawing of the hijacker in this case was found by himself at the Boeing Plant where he worked. [REDACTED] stated that a friend of his, BOB BALL, who he has not seen for about four years, from what he remembers, held a strong likeness to the composite. [REDACTED] could recall only sketchy background information regarding BALL, but he did provide two photographs of BALL, which he requested be returned. This background information included the following:

---

Two periods of service in the U. S. Army, he could not recall dates;

Attendance at the University of Washington in the early and late 50's;

Two marriages, his second of which was to a [REDACTED] [REDACTED] whom he married in [REDACTED]. He believes that [REDACTED] present address is Grass Valley, California;

A six-month employment at Boeing, during 1956, in the Control Cable Inspection Department;

A licensed realtor in the early 60's in the state of Washington.
