RE: RALPH MULVIHILL
SUB. NO. 479
Re Omaha letter to Minneapolis and Seattle,
dated 5/22/73.
All logical investigation to locate RALPH
MULVIHILL has been conducted.
On July 26, 1972, JAMES C. ASHTON, Jr., Boeing
Company executive, advised that if the hijacker was a mem-
ber of or had consulted with a member of The Boeing test team,
he would have known that the 727 could not have taken off
with the air stairs down; nor would have been necessary,
since the air stairs can be easily lowered in flight.
In view of the above, no further investigation
will be conducted concerning RALPH MULVIHILL.
ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
