RE: JAMES LEROY SENDER SUB 547

Re Seattle airtel to Savannah, 12/22/72.

Enclosed is one photograph of Major JAMES LEROY SENDER, Deputy Provost Marshal, Fort Stewart, Georgia.

On 1/5/73, [REDACTED] Fort Stewart, Ga., was contacted re this matter. [REDACTED] assisted in obtain- ing the morning reports for the 298th MP Company, Fort Stewart, for the period November, 1971, and review of these records revealed no record of any leave taken by SENDER during this time. A review of the MP Desk blotter for November, 1971, revealed SENDER had issued a parking ticket on post on 11/23/71. No further entries identifiable with SENDER able to be located during this time period. [REDACTED] advised that military officers can receive days off when requested, and no written record is maintained of these periods of absence.

Discreet inquiry by [REDACTED] with several individuals working with SENDER at PMO during November, 1971, failed to determine positively whether SENDER was present or absent during late November, 1971.
