On 4/20/73, CSNY 1, an organization that maintains records concerning businesses in the Greater New York area advised that no record could be located in the name of Pais Pearl Products Incorporated, Hastings-On-Hudson, New York.
On 4/24/73, a visual observation of Pais Pearl Products, Incorporated, 24 Aqueduct Lane, Hastings-On-Hudson, New York, telephone (914) 478-2113 reveals this to be a small building comprised of a warehouse park with a small one room office. Inquiry indicated this company is engaged in the "fish oil" industry.
For the information of Seattle it is noted that no inquiry could be made at this company in an effort to determine the whereabouts of MERAVY on 11/24/71, without his obvious awareness of the inquiry to decipher the company.
Seattle is requested to advise New York the results of the comparison of MERAVY's fingerprints to the latent prints involved in this matter and also the outcome of the display of MERAVY's photograph to witnesses in this matter.
New York will hold in abeyance any further inquiry concerning MERAVY until advised as to Seattle's desires noting that the only logical way to determine MERAVY's wherabouts on 11/24/71, would be a direct interview of MERAVY.
