RE: ALLEN EUGENE YORK

On January 19, 1973, an anonymous caller contacted the Olympia Resident Agency and advised that a fellow worker by the name of ALLEN YORK at the Delson Lumber Company in Olympia has been making a number of statements indicating he has unusual wealth. Furthermore, YORK has worked at the mill for about a year and a half, claims to have been a paratrooper, recently bought a $10,000 boat, purchased a home for his son in Oregon for $32,000, and bought himself a place for $28,000. The anonymous caller advised that YORK vaguely resembled the picture of the hijacker in his recollection.

On January 29, 1973, [REDACTED] Department of Motor Vehicles, Olympia, made available a photograph of ALLEN EUGENE YORK taken December, 1971.
