Re Sacramento letter to Seattle and Las Vegas, 2/3/75 and Seattle letter to Sacramento and Las Vegas, 2/21/75.

The following investigation was conducted at Elko, Nevada, by SA [redacted]:

The records of the Elko, Nevada Police Department, failed to reflect any information identifiable with [redacted] [redacted] nor is there any information in these files relative to a bar in Elko by the name of the Brass Rail Bar.

Mrs. AVIS HESS, Greater Elko County, Retail Credit Association, Elko, Nevada, advised on 2/25/75, that the records of her office failed to reflect any information identifiable with a [redacted] or the Brass Rail Bar.

SA [redacted] has been a resident Agent, Elko, Nevada, since September, 1955, and a Brass Rail Bar has not existed in Elko since that date, neither can SA [redacted] recall any individual crashing an airplane into any bar in the city of Elko and committing suicide.

The above investigation was inadvertently not reported to Seattle.
